Mozzie is a small personal project where I redesigned tweezers to increase their aesthetics and market value.

Tweezers are a tool with different usages, and almost everyone has one in their home. Most tweezers on the market are two simple pieces of metal made with the goal to minimize costs and attract customers with low prices. Nevertheless, I believe that tweezers' aesthetics and market value can be increased through adding and emphasizing design elements.
Inspiration & Sketch
A set of four tweezers is inserted into a foam and packaged in a recycled acrylic container covered with a frosted plastic shell.
There are two sub-sets in the package, one with round tips, and the other one with sharp tips. The differences in form allow them to perform different tasks. Non-slip silicone grips on the tweezers add comfort for users.
Black tweezers with wood grip offer a different aesthetic and tactile experience.
Tweezers with iridescent coating paired with colorful silicone grips evoke positive emotions and make interactions with the tools more delightful.
Mozzie also can be made from plastic with terrazzo decal, designed to visually entice consumers who love pattern and bright colors.
